So many people were just naturally thin…
They weren't living in the gym…
They weren't doing keto or low carb…
And they sure as hell weren't counting calories…
Yet someone who was overweight or even obese was the outlier.
They stood out like a sore thumb…
Now, look around today…
Everyone's overweight…
And I don't say that to be mean…
Heck, I used to be over 215lbs and I was the chubby kid growing up…
But according to the latest research…
Over 75% of Americans are considered overweight or obese…
It's like the exact OPPOSITE of the 1960's and 70's…
So what changed?
Some people blame it on fast food…
But McDonald's was founded in 1955…
And there were plenty of places back then where you could get a burger, fries and a milkshake…
So that's not it…
Gyms weren't common back then, so it's not like people were exercising more…
Think about it...
Nowadays, it seems like there's a gym or "fitness club" on every corner…
And we're exercising more than ever…
The treadmills are always packed at the gym I go to…
We're lifting more weights…
Doing more fitness classes…
People are working out at home (can you imagine your mom or grandmother waking up early to get her morning workout in back in the day)?
None of it is actually working…
Except for the people who become obsessed and make it their life, however…
One thing people did basically every day in the '60s and 70's was...
