Hey, UCLA Health reports our balance starts to weaken as early as 50. It has to do with the three body systems that work together to maintain balance: the eyes, inner ear, and sensory feedback from joints. These systems provide the brain with information about the body and surrounding environment. But as you age, your brain may not work as well as it used to. Your reaction time, muscle strength, and flexibility weaken. Balance problems begin to affect your day-to-day life. You could be in danger of falling and getting hurt if these problems persist. This could lead to broken bones or head injuries. Things like getting dressed, cooking, and even going to the grocery store can be difficult for you. Worrying about falls could also make you stop seeing your friends, and start feeling lonely and isolated. However, there's one thing you can do to improve your brain and balance and avoid falls. => THIS 10-second habit empowers your brain and improves your balance
